"Come with me, my love, to the sea of love"

Miss Koshka
Aisyah, 21, thinks that life is too short.
I don't believe in love, cause it makes people blind and crazy. I believe in Allah, & all the great things He has done. Want to know who's the perfect role model for a hijabi? Not me.

Praying Mantis Rough Mating
I wouldn't call it "sexual intercourse" anymore, because ahhh, it seems so heartless.

This is insane shit! Thanks, Syikin, for this very, erm, scary information.
Ok, I'm at this website (click me click me!), and thank goodness, not ALL praying mantis do this!

"It's not true, as many people think, that female praying mantids always devour their mates. Only a few of the 180 mantid species engage in this shocking practice, and not always under natural conditions. Still, sexual cannibalism is common enough among mantids and other creatures (including some spiders, scorpions, crickets, grasshoppers, and beetles) thankfully not us and my cats, lucky me that evolutionary theorists are forced to account for it. After all, it's hard to see what evolutionary advantage this ultimate sacrifice would offer -- especially for the dined-upon males.
One could argue that the reproductive act and the eating of the male might have nothing to do with each other. Some biologists say it's simply hunger: The females, which are much larger, may be unable to resist a male meal that's so tempting and so vulnerable. Ooh so 'tempting'. How sexy is that! And sure enough, researchers have shown that well-nourished female mantids refrained from cannibalism, while those deprived of food ate any male in sight, whether or not mating was involved.
Still, evidence does exist that the two acts are linked, and that the male may even benefit: Not in the short term, obviously, but in the next generation, where the offspring may be more likely to carry his genes. For example, the sex act may be protracted when the female gets caught up in chewing her partner, which could increase the odds he will fertilize her eggs. So? I wouldn't risk it. Yikes! In addition, when the male loses his head -- literally -- it blocks normal inhibitory nerve impulses and he becomes more abandoned sexually. Bizarre as is seems, the male mantid can continue to engage in sex after his head has been devoured. "Dasar jantan."
Sexual cannibalism isn't a must for the mantis to reproduce. Its advantage for the female may be a handy source of nutrition for herself and to feed her offspring.
There's no clear answer about the male's role in this ritual, and scientists debate whether the male is compliant in his own sacrificial death."

I hate praying mantis, like how I hate certain insects, particularly cockroaches.
Next topic, please!

(Picture is just an example of the Dead Sea Mud Mask. Not the one I'm using now!)
I bought Deep Sea Mud Mask at Usante (The Mind and Body Shop), where you can enjoy up to 80% off selected items! My Deep Sea Mud Mask was only $10, original price being $30.40! Who knows I might be getting the big tub's, on sale at $35. It's goooooood, so relaxing. And it doesn't smell bad.
The ingredients is said to reach deep into pores.
> Provides deep cleansing.
> Helps tighten pores and stimulate circulation, leaving your skin with a smooth, healthy glow.

So anyway, Harindra and I had our first Mud Mask Day! Have been wanting to get this since watching Blair's video, and now I have it. No instant effect, of course, but it just makes me feel good after 1 use. Try ahhhh, $10 only! Usante @ VivoCity, by the way.
So now, every week, we'll have a Mud Mask Day! How cool is that...
