"Come with me, my love, to the sea of love"

Miss Koshka
Aisyah, 21, thinks that life is too short.
I don't believe in love, cause it makes people blind and crazy. I believe in Allah, & all the great things He has done. Want to know who's the perfect role model for a hijabi? Not me.

Istanbul Aku Datang was goooooooooood! I don't know whether is it the lighting, or the fact that Istanbul is such a beautiful country that makes everything about the movie so pleasant to watch. No I'm not going to type out the synopsis, or tell you how exactly the story goes, but some things/memories/thoughts just came into my mind..

No matter how long your relationship with someone is doesn't determine your future with them. The typical, "oh you two have been together for xx years?! Wow hurry up and get married!" doesn't make sense anymore, and people are saying it just for the sake of saying it, or if their intention is really good and sincere, to bring a smile to your face :) Ultimately, He decides, and we can only plan. What's important is for someone to be kind-hearted, and respect you for who you are. Respect. Even when they're mad at you. Girls, we are known for our bitchiness when we're mad, so we scold vulgarities and be all dramatic saying things that we don't mean. Cs we're girls and it's okay (hahahhaa i'm biased like nobody's business!) but guys, once they say things that are indirectly disrespectful, that's just plain fucked up. Guys, don't ever ever ever try to call your girlfriend a slut, cs that's just plain rude, don't you think so? So where am I going with this.......

Sometimes you gotta listen to your heart.
HAHAHHA See la I type so much until Idk what I wanted to say initially. I got carried away talking about respect.

Would love to travel to Istanbul with my family. I used to say things like, "I want to go everywhere with my future husband." but then I realised.... WTF MAN I HAVE A FAMILY TO LOVE SO WHY AM I THINKING OF FUTURE PLANS WITH A FUTURE SOMEBODEHHH So yea, have always wanted to go to Istanbul with my family. Or Morocco. Especially Hajj.

Wow.

Friday, tomorrow is Sat, Sunday comes afterwards.
Sunday, July 3, 2011 || 10:59 PM

Hello! So my weekends were like, so happening. Haha no lah!

On Friday:
- Tried Pure Cookies & Cream from Coffeebean but using soy milk,
- had a vegan evening at Loving Hut with Amanda & Olivia :)
- walked too much just to find the nearest Starbucks. ass, it wasn't even near!
- took 174 home, instead of the train!

Loving Hut: http://lovinghut.com.sg
Don't be fooled - "egg!? mayonnaise?! sure or not vegan?" really vegan (I hope) and 'according to them' they're halal. Vegan and vegetarian different okay.

The first few dishes that was served. (brown rice + Olivia's + mine)

Silky Tofu Mushroom (Olivia's)

Sweet & Sour nuggets (mine)

Tofu Jacket (shared)

The brown rice. (shared) Bought 1 with set which included this plate of brown rice. Divided into three! Haha
But mom lied to me; she told me that brown rice is hard. No!

The 'fake' egg!! (shared) It's tofu + something, and it tasted just like egg! Healthier choice? Mmm maybe?

Spicy Otah (Amanda's). Very spicy!!!

I forgot what this was called (shared). It consists of Papadum Tofu Roll, Potato wedges, and 2 more idkwhat haha

Starbucks with Amanda

On Saturday:
- 15 mins jogging+brisk walk, 10 mins of pilates (see previous post)
- Work
- Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part I with Hari
- spent time with him until ~1.05am. Miss spending so much time with him.

The link to Harry Potter & DH1, with French subtitle! Too sexy.
Click here

On Sunday:
- Went to East Coast Park with Hari
- Breakfast! For me: Breakfast set at Coffeebean: Salmon & egg muffin + Hot Vanilla using soy + no-sugar-added vanilla powder (NSA is fat-free!) For him: Lunch set: Chicken Meatball pasta + iced tea.
- 1.5h of non-stop cycling, $7 each person.
- Lunch! For me: McGrill salad? + orange juice. For him: McSpicy set meal + Coke.
- The Other End Of The Line (2008) with Hari
- Hisss (2010) with Mom.

I bet they thought I'm one fussy customer. Soy lah, NSA lah. But at last you see, the drink didn't even reach to the brim, and the foam is like, 2 inches? No, I didn't complain hehe
I hate customers who complain so much. Diam sudah lah.

My Salmon & Egg Muffin :> So nice!

His Chicken Meatball Pasta.

Our McD lunch :)

The Other End Of The Line, starring Jesse Metcalfe (that's right. Desperate Housewives hottie) & Shriya Saran (dk her, but she's pretty!) bloody hell *british accent* I love this movie!

and Hisss (warning: Hisss is not that nice haha)

Okay bye. Kiss kiss.

Mantra, We Are Family
Tuesday, September 28, 2010 || 4:03 PM

the movie is, well, deep. I think it's unlike any other. A tad confusing at first, as I couldn't differentiate the girls' faces haha then it got better and, serious. So yes, I think y'all should watch it cause it's different. Amazing visual effects, story line hmm it's kinda simple

Something I can relate to, not that I'm married or have kids or etc etc it's just soooo good. Again, another simple story line, but I can totally understand the character played by Kajol. The children are so good-looking, and they have beautiful names! All start with A. Remember last time when Hari and I are so, erm, ON, we had a list of Indian names starting with A for their middle names! Eg Agastya, Arush, Aditya, Arora, and his personal fav, Agustina (not even Indian lah haha) SO ANYWAY, I managed to not cry haha it's v good movie tho, v touching. Good to watch with spouse and then crrrryyyyy

don't ask ;) Watch it yourself.

staring at their soft lips as they talk
Wednesday, June 16, 2010 || 1:12 AM

Personal rating of 3/5 perhaps? The Karate Kid was a tad draggy, to be honest. Dre Parker, played by Jaden Smith, was such an adorable character. He's going to be huge in the Hollywood scene, just like his dad. Predictable plot and a couple of scenes that just wanna make you take a short rest. But other than that, pretty alright, cause it's humorous.

I love Amanda & Tiffany Raj! They're sweethearts too, y'know!!! Thanks, you guys, for coming all the way here to give us the pretty cupcakes (I haven't tried it yet and I will, tomorrow!), the lunch/movie/lazy-afternoon at Mami's Crib (haha) and accompanying me to visit Sugar. (: By the way, Sugar's fine, and most probably he can be back home tomorrow. InsyaAllah.

Evening with Harindra was fine, so damn fine. Thanks for the L, and semoga Allah selalu melindungimu, kasih (: Tomorrow's going to be a good and productive day for you (cause I'm a psychic like that)

To the man of my dream, HEY YA!

Another movie that's awesome. I think my kekasih is right - I like a lot of actors. Haha
 Okay I'm really coughing a lot. Time for bed. World Cup tonight, Germany will win?
So far the WC has been pretty un-exciting, most of the matches are like 0-0, 1-1 which is such a bore. Come on, it's at South Africa for goodness sake, so spice things up a little with your genius/mastermind plans

p/s When I get married, The BackUp Plan would be my inspiration to ____

WITH NOTHING BUT YOUR T-SHIRT ON

Unlike last year, I'm not going to tell you
Every
Single
Thing
that happened on our anniversary. I know all of you don't want to know either, but I have the habit of blogging non-stop when I get excited about something. (;

Happy 2nd once again, Harindra. You are theeeeeee bez.

Anyway, Prince of Persia is a must-watch, and you don't need so many people to tell you that right!? If you have yet to catch it, what are you waiting for?! The ending was a bit lousy for me, but just a bit. Other than that, it's like, ftw ranking right after Avatar? Oh, I think the ending was lousy because my expectation was too high! But nonetheless, go get your tickets now.

Today has been so productive. Beside our anniversary day-out, Mom brought me to do my facial, which of course, costs nearly $200 because it's some purifying stuff. Somehow my whole family (mom, aunts, sister-in-law's family) has tried it, and their face are glowing now. Ahem. So I hope God has mercy on me. Please, God, I don't want to have pimple face on my wedding day.

have you ever been in love?
Tuesday, March 23, 2010 || 2:27 AM

Hello everyone who reads my blog but simply refuses to tag at the tagboard :D
Today has been good. (I know I'm being paranoid, but whether it's "today" or "yesterday", I can't be bothered anymore cause it's pretty much the same difference! Yes, I'm this paranoid)

The day started with me waking up at 6am to study for my supplementary paper today. I know I know, it's last minute work and blahblah, but I guess some things can't be changed? And I came in late for the paper on purpose too. It was alright, and I'm really hoping for a 'P' grade so that I don't have to retake that goddamn module next next next (+next) semester.
Amanda came over and we had a movie marathon. And Mami gave us lotsa foooooood. I love my mother..

The movies are amaaaaaazing. I slept during 'Meet the Robinsons' though, cause of the lunch. You know, the whole after-lunch effect. Anyway, it's funny how each movie links to one another. You see, Eric (The Little Mermaid) guessed that Ariel's real name was Mildred, and in Meet the Robinsons, the orphanage home lady's name was Mildred, and Orphan, well, Esther was from an orphanage. Cool, aye? Not much of a big deal, I know, but it's cool, so you shut up! Haha Oh-am-gee I love The Little Mermaid so much.

Thanks Amanda, for spending this lovely day together! I love you!

I just feel like writing a long post today, no idea why. I know people won't be bothered to read every single thing, but weird how I lloooooovvveeee reading my own blog when I'm bored, especially alittlebang.blogpot.com. It's on private now, only meant for one person to see...

Why am I seeing more and more couples breaking up after years of being together? I'm not talking about 2 years relationship, or 3 years. Neither am I talking about a 3 years relationship with regular breakup-patchup cycle. I'm talking about serious deal, 3-7 years of strong relationship that's based on love. How can they be possibly be bored of each other? It's just that, whenever I get too happy with Harindra, I'll hear of stories about sister lah, friends lah, all ah, break up after long-"lasting" relationship. None of my business and I shouldn't be affected, but tsk, I am affected! I am very affected! They were in my shoes before, they knew how it felt to be sooo sooo friggin' happy in love. They were like me, so positive, oh-am-gee so happy together. They knew each other so well, they met everyday, the communicated everyday, and by communicating I mean listen and talk and understand. That's very important. They thought they can't live without each other, they couldn't see the future without having the other one around. Then, may I ask, how can a relationship fail, after all that? I don't bother asking those puppy love or those who treats love like it's so easy and all, superficial nonsense. I'm asking those who, yeah, have been in a serious r/s.

It's seriously scary, not that I'm gonna expect anything in the future or whatsoever, it's just the horrid thoughts. Thoughtssss.

Harindra is my boyfriend, and we're turning 2 soon. Not so soon, but soon enough :) Of all the 365days x2, we've not met for only 10 days, plus minus 1 day. Imagine that. Soon, he'll be in National Service. I wish him all the best, and may God bless him. I can't wait to go Darul Arqam with him :) Guess what? Yeah, I'm a happy girl.

Don't take ANYTHING personally, alright? It's just my utmost random thoughts, and I think my period is coming soon, thus the whole 'oh loveeee' mood. Just for your info, it's obvious enough that I'm so grateful that my first relationship is still, Alhamdulillah, doing fine and this whole 'love' issue hasn't been giving me any trouble. I take serious things/issues like love, well, seriously. People who don't and think they are all that, they piss me off.

So this is the long long post! I'm satisfied now. Gdnight! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SYIKIN! LOVE YOU!

Juno
|| 11:20 PM

Juno was fantastic! It's pretty embarrassing to know that I'm one of the last few souls in the world to watch it. Hah! Juno was such a cool girl, and I'm turned on by the fact she loved the company of Mark, this adult guy who's married. Well, maybe cause Jason Bateman is the actor for that character. Anyway, I think the movie's awesome, probably not the lack of responsibility these young teenagers have (I mean, come on, they are teenagers after all) and Mark's attitude, but I think, yes I repeat this again, the movie's awesome. It touches a serious issue, yet in a very cool, relaxed laidback attitude. Well, I've finally watched it, so those few souls who haven't watched this yet, what the hell?

PAINTED MY HEART THE COLOUR OF LOVE.
I STAY UP AT NIGHT AND COUNT THE STARS.
YOUR EYES STARE AT ME AS THERE EXISTS A BOND BETWEEN US
MY HEART IS THE DESTINATION OF YOUR LOVE.
IF I HELD YOU , YOU'D KNOW IT'S YOUR LOVE I DESIRE.
IT'S ME WHO HIDES BEHIND YOUR SMILE.

I watched a Bollywood movie yesterday. Dulha Mil Gaya. Kinda good, yknow.
Haha wtf at this post, right? :D
